Drug Charges Laid in Chatham

A pair of Chatham men are in hot water after being pulled over by police.

Yesterday afternoon, an officer stopped a car on King Street near Lacroix and found the driver, a 38-year-old man, had a suspended license.

The passenger, a 46-year-old man, was found carrying of a large amount of cash and various drugs, including fentanyl, crack, and crystal meth, among others.

Both men are now facing charges for breaking previous bail conditions, and the passenger has also been slapped with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
