Drugs Confiscated, Car Towed

Drug trafficking charges have been laid against a Bothwell man.

Chatham-Kent Police got a call yesterday afternoon around 3:30 about a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Thames Street.

The accused was found with various drug paraphernalia, prescription medications, and hydromorphone.

Authorities say the 55-year-old also didn’t have a driver’s license.

He was arrested and released with a date in court later this month, and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
