A 43-year-old Chatham woman was arrested late last night after allegedly rear-ending another vehicle that had slowed down to go around a stopped emergency vehicle on Bloomfield Road.

Meantime, Chatham-Kent Police had their hands busy during last night’s Super Bowl with RIDE checks set up in Chatham and Blenheim.

Over the course of the night, a total of 450 vehicles were stopped.

13 roadside tests were conducted, 2 drivers were handed three-day suspensions, and another 8 were charged with various violations under the Highway Traffic Act.
