
A local woman is facing charges after a man was assaulted in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called about a dispute between a man and a woman on Queen Street on Tuesday at around 4 a.m.
Officers located the pair at a Queen Street business and learned that the woman had assaulted the man and caused damage to nearby property. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 36-year-old Chatham-Kent woman has been arrested and charged with assault and mischief. She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
