Impaired driving charges have been laid following an early morning crash.
Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of Baldoon Road and Pioneer Line just after 2 o’clock this morning and found the vehicle upside down in a ditch.
The driver and passenger were extricated and taken to hospital for minor physical injuries.
Authorities believed the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The 53-year-old Chatham man has been charged with impaired driving and failure or refusal to comply with a demand. HE was released with conditions and a future court date, and also issued a summons to provincial court for driving with a suspended license.
