An early morning fire in Wallaceburg sent one person to hospital.
Fire fighters from Wallaceburg, Chatham, and Tupperville responded to a home on St Clair Road near Border Road at 3:19 this morning.
When crews arrived, flames could be seen coming from the first floor windows.
Fire fighters managed to douse the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to the second storey or attic.
One person was taken to hospital by ambulance, but has since been released.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
