A familiar face in Dresden and Wallaceburg policing retired this week.
Ed MacLean, who starting in the area in September of 1992 as the chief of the Dresden police hung up his badge Thursday.
MacLean began his career on October 7, 1973 as a Constable with the Waterloo Regional Police Force.
Since 1998 he’s spent time as a Supervisor in Community Patrol, a District Sergeant in Wallaceburg and Tilbury and as a Traffic and Marine Services Sergeant.
