On May 8th students and teachers in grades 6 through 8 will take part in the second annual Black Heritage Symposium at the high school in Dresden.

The event at Lambton Kent composite School will focus on the importance of Black heritage and identity and will also include a tour of the worlds famous Uncle Tom’s Cabin. They will also get a chance to tour the Buxton National historic site and Museum.

Meantime Catholic Education Week follows the theme “Renewing the Promise.”
