Emergency Inspection Leads to Arrest

Weapons and drugs have been seized from a Chatham home.

Chatham-Kent Police conducted what they refer to as an “emergency inspection” at a home over the weekend, uncovering a .22 caliber rifle, a pistol grip shotgun, methamphetamine, scales, and cash.

The 39-year-old tenant was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and unsafe storage of a firearm.
