A Wardsville man has been arrested following a collision near Erieau.
Emergency crews responded to Erieau Road shortly after 7:30 Sunday morning and say a vehicle left the road and struck a hydro pole.
Further investigation showed the driver was wanted on a warrant dating back to June, 2023 in connection to an assault investigation.
The 43-year-old has now been charged with assault and was held at police headquarters for a bail hearing.
