An alleged impaired driver has been taken off the road in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service received a complaint about a vehicle that was seen driving erratically on Bear Line on Monday shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Officers located the vehicle and pulled it over on McNaughton Avenue.
After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where she allegedly refused further testing.
As a result, a 39-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with impaired driving and refusing to comply with a demand. She was later released with conditions and a September court date.
