Allegations over reported misuse of proxy voters has led to charges being laid against the mayor of Essex.
The OPP launched an investigation in October, 2018.
65-year-old Lawrence Snively has now been charged under the Municipal Elections Act with getting people to vote in the municipal election when they weren’t entitled to do so.
He’ll face the allegations in a Windsor courtroom on March 30th.
