On Thursday April 27th at 7pm at Sacred Heart Church Hall Port Lambton the KofC Speaker Series is hosting Jessica Riedl from the Casa Colibri organization, which is part of CanadaHelps. Jessica travels to the highland communities of Guatemala to serve the under-served Mayan people. Many of these communities were displaced during the civil war (1960-1996). To this day, families work very hard to feed and educate their children. Since 2011, Jessica has volunteered on professional teams to bring healthcare, vitamin supplementation and health teaching to these remote communities.
