On October 7, local business owner Kevin Owen will run 100km, shore to shore in Chatham-Kent with a goal to try to raise $100,000 for the CTC Foundation… all in ONE DAY!
In support of the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent, Board Member Kevin Owen will take on the roads of Chatham-Kent, running 100km in one day. Beginning in Mitchell’s Bay and taking a route through Wallaceburg, Dresden, Kent Bridge, Chatham, Blenheim and ending in Erieau, raising money along the way for the CTC Foundation.
How long does 100km take to run?
Kevin’s goal for the Shore to Shore Ultramarathon is to finish in 15 hours.
That means a start time of 3:00am, running in the dark, running through multiple meal times, and spending most of the day on the roads of Chatham-Kent. It is a true test of determination towards meeting the goal of 100km and raising money for the CTC Foundation.
How can you help? Support Kevin by donating to his run.
YOU can help our families NOW more than ever get the services and therapies that our kids need.
Not all services at the Children’s Treatment Centre are covered by government funding. Programs like Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation Services and Music Therapy are all funded by the CTC Foundation. Your support means families continue to receive connection, comfort and support by accessing these services.
Your support of the Shore to Shore Ultramarathon will make a positive change to the lives of our children.
