Wallaceburg Museum to Host Screening of Strange Tales of the South Shore

An upcoming event in Wallaceburg will spotlight one of the region’s most enduring legends. On Friday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m., the Wallaceburg and District Museum will host a special screening of Episode 1 of Strange Tales of the South Shore, a new series from filmmaker Ken Amlin, Producer and Director of KRA Productions Inc.

The premiere episode focuses on The Baldoon Mystery, a story deeply rooted in Wallaceburg’s history and folklore, and one of Southwestern Ontario’s best-known tales of the unexplained. The screening will be held in the Jeanne Gordon Hall, with the episode running approximately 40 minutes. Following the presentation, attendees will be invited to take part in a question-and-answer session and meet the filmmaker.

The episode contains eerie themes and suspenseful moments that may be unsettling for some viewers. Guests are encouraged to use their discretion when attending.

This event offers a unique opportunity to see the community’s history and legends brought to life on screen and to engage directly with the creator of the series. Registration is required, and tickets are available for only $15 per person.
