DESCRIPTION:Starting Monday\, January 31st\, CK Public Health will be opening their Bradley Centre Clinic\, located at 565 Richmond Street in Chatham\, to walk-in appointments. Walk-ins will be accepted up to a half hour before each clinic closes. Residents who are looking to ensure a specific appointment time are encouraged book in advance at www.GetYoutShotCK.ca or by calling 519-351-1010 and leaving a message for a call back. All appointments previously booked will be honoured. \nUpcoming Bradley Centre Clinics offering the COVID-19 vaccine will take place: \n\nMonday\, January 31st 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m\nWednesday\, February 2nd 1:30 p.m. to7:30 p.m.\nThursday\, February 3th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nSaturday\, February 5th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nMonday\, February 7th 1:30 p.m. to 7:30\nWednesday\, February 9th 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.\nThursday\, February 10th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\nSaturday\, February 12th 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.\n\nWalk-in clinics remove barriers and provide additional convenience for those still looking to get their COVID-19 vaccine. DESCRIPTION:Chatham-Kent Public Library is hosting a Virtual Author Talk with Brock Greenhalgh\, author of “Hard Road to Victory: The Chatham All-Stars Story\,” in recognition of Black History Month. \nIn the fall of 1934\, more than a decade before Jackie Robinson broke baseball’s colour barrier\, a team of Black athletes blazed a trail for others to follow and earned the opportunity to compete for a major baseball championship. Brock will discuss how the Chatham All-Stars overcame societal hurdles that still persist today. \nJoin Brock for his Virtual Author Talk on Thursday\, February 10 at 9:30 am. Brock’s presentation is approximately one hour and best suited for children 8 years and older.
