DESCRIPTION:Breakfast & BMPs\, an informational session with the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority (LTVCA). \nThe LTVCA Precision Phosphorus Reduction Program (PPRP) offers regional farmers the opportunity to apply for project funding to offset costs of improving the health of their fields by implementing agriculture best management practices (BMPs). \nSustaining and enhancing agricultural land is a key priority for the LTVCA while addressing the issue of non-point source nutrient losses in the Thames River and Lake Erie Basin. \nPhosphorus is an essential nutrient\, working behind the scenes\, or below the soil\, to create sustainable fields and higher yields. \nLower Thames Valley farmers are encouraged to attend Breakfast & BMPs. We’ll provide application guidance\, clarify program details and answer questions on phosphorus reduction in the watershed. \nLTVCA is hosting two events to support program participation watershed wide.
