An arrest has been made after a local resident received several harassing messages from an ex-girlfriend.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Grand Avenue West home on Saturday shortly after 9 p.m. after the victim reported getting harassing messages from her former partner from multiple different numbers.
Following an investigation, a suspect was located and arrested.
A 42-year-old Ridgetown woman was charged with one count of criminal harassment before being released with conditions and a future court date.
