The Pain Court Water Tower is going to get a fresh coat of paint, inside and out next year.
The Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission rubber-stamped the project at a special meeting just before the Christmas break.
It comes with a price tag of $2.3-million.
The plan is to sandblast the interior and exterior, recoat to prevent deterioration and add a water mixing system.
