Back in August, the accused received a vulnerable sector check and criminal records check for a job he was applying for.
However, police say the accused changed the documents in order to get hired.
His new employer did a secondary check with police in another region, but was told the man couldn’t be licensed to work due to past convictions and an outstanding charge of impersonating a police officer.
The 30-year-old was arrested and charged with forgery and uttering a forged document.
