A false fire alarm has led to the arrest of a Chatham woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police said emergency crews responded to a fire alarm at a Margaret Avenue business in Wallaceburg just before 3 p.m. on Sunday.
After learning it was a false alarm, security detained a suspect before police arrived.
A 32-year-old Chatham woman was arrested at the scene and charged with triggering a false fire alarm. She will answer the charge in court next month.
