Family Day Fun at CKPL

With Family Day less than two weeks away, officials at the Chatham-Kent Public Library are planning fun activities for all ages.

Branches in Chatham, Wallaceburg, Highgate, Merlin, Ridgetown, and Tilbury will be open regular hours on February 17th to borrow books, magazines, movies, or video games.

A drop-in is being held at in Chatham from 10am-4pm on Family Day with a library obstacle course.

The Highgate branch is hosting a race against the clock to see who the best speller is. Family fun board games will be out for all ages to play.

A spelling bee will take place at the Ridgetown Branch, as well as family board games.

A workshop will take place at the Tilbury Branch between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to make a seed bomb with wildflower seeds, soil, and clay.

The Wallaceburg library is hosting family-friendly activities, board games, LEGO, a scavenger hunt, and crafts.

All CKPL Family Day activities are free to attend.
