A special outdoor vaccination clinic is being held today in Chatham, focusing on families.
Those 12 and up, including eligible family members, can walk up to the clinic at Kingston Park no appointment necessary for either first or second doses.
That’s in addition to ongoing walk-in availability at the Bradley Centre mass vaccination clinic in Chatham, which has now opened up to walk-ins for both first and second doses.
As of Thursday’s update from Pubic Health, 76% of the population 18 and older has received at least one dose of COVID vaccine, while 64% are fully vaccinated.
When you include those 12 and older, the numbers shift to 74% with one shot and 61% who’ve received both.
There are currently seven active cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent.
