Chatham-Kent Police say a 46-year-old Chatham woman was driving eastbound on Grande River Line near Jacob Road in Pain Court when her vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
Emergency crews attended the scene, but lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.
The investigation continues.
