Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says this most recent mild stretch started Saturday at 16 degrees, breaking a record set back in 1949.
“We’re on pace today to beat another record, the forecast high of 18 and the current record is 17.2c in 1930 and it looks like we could be in record territory on friday with a forecast high of 15c with a current record of 14.4c back in 1906
Coulson says depending on how the weekend unfolds, we could break a record for the month, set back in 1949.
