A local woman and a teenager have been charged after an argument over hockey cards turned violent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a disturbance on Merritt Avenue in Chatham shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, they had to separate two individuals after a discussion over hockey cards escalated.
As a result, a 20-year-old Chatham woman and a 17-year-old Chatham boy were both charged with assault. Both were later released from custody with future court dates.
