Final Meeting For This Term of Council

Chatham-Kent council will be meet up for their last meeting of their term tonight, –as a planning meeting will take place online.

The planning issues on tonight’s agenda are pretty straightforward, so it should be a relatively quick meeting.

It will be the final session for at least three current councillors, Ward One councillor Mark Authier, Ward Four representative Joe Faas, and Ward Six councillor Doug Sulman, none of whom are seeking re-election.

Municipal council and school board elections will take place on Monday, October 24.

The inaugural meeting and swearing-in ceremony for the new term of council will be held November 15th at the Capitol Theatre.
