FireFest is this weekend, and with it comes one of the largest displays of firetrucks in North America
Organizer Brent Denure says they try to make it a Chatham-Kent event.
“On the Friday before, Sept 20th, we’re going to convoy out to Thamesville and cruise through the streets of Thamesville, we’re going to stage the vehicles in front of Johnny Quest’s for about an hour or so,” says Denure. “Give the people the opportunity for people to get up and close, for those who may not make it on the 21st.”
As many as 100 fire vehicles are expected to take part, dating all the way back to 1840.
