No injuries have been reported following a house fire just east of Duart.

Firefighters responded to a Thomson Line property shortly after 8:30 Tuesday night.

Officials say crews from Station 10 Orford and Station 11 Ridgetown battled extremely cold temperatures and harsh winter conditions as they fought the blaze. A tanker from Station 9 Bothwell was also called in to help with water shuttle operations.

Chatham-Kent Police and EMS, along with the CK Fire and Rescue Command Unit were also on hand providing support, rehabilitation, and a warming station for fire fighters.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
