Firefighters battling two fires in Chatham-Kent this morning

Fire and emergency crews in Wallaceburg continue to battle a warehouse fire.

According to Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services, no injuries have been reported.

Crews from Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Tupperville are on the scene. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Several XS listeners are reporting that the fire is at the Tom & Al’s warehouse near Gillard Street and Queen Street in Wallaceburg.

Chatham fire crews are also at a fire in Chatham on West Street.

Officials say a single-family home caught fire this morning, and has caused about $150,000 in damages. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and a woman has been taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
