Fireworks Alter Walpole Island Ferry Sked.

Due to back to back fireworks displays in Algonac Michigan, there will be changes to the Walpole Island ferry schedule.

Traffic detours in Michigan mean the ferry will stop taking cars across at 5:15 pm Friday and Saturday.

The last ferry back from the U.S. with cars on board will be 5:30 pm.

They will continue to run pedestrian  traffic until 9 pm.
