Public Health Nurse Nadeane Brull says as we head into the holidays, it’s important for everyone to keep not only their own health top of mind, but others’ as well.
“Stay home definitely if you’re if you’re sick, you want to avoid contact with other people and transmission of the infection. Cover your nose and mouth. Sneeze into your sleeve to protect other people from your germs,” says Brull. “Wash your hands, it’s all about washing your hands and use alcohol sanitize that’s available.”
Brull says this year’s flu shot appears to be a good match for the main strain of the virus making the rounds.
