New members are being recruited for the Chatham-Kent Food Policy Council.
Officials are looking for volunteers from staff of community organizations or any local residents who have an interest in CK’s food system.
The Food Policy Council falls under the jurisdiction of the Chatham-Kent Board of Health with a goal of developing relevant policies and to advocate for our local food system.
The Council is looking for volunteers with a variety of backgrounds, including those representing an older adults’ organization, youth and immigration, education, and general community members.
Those interested in applying are asked to complete the Food Policy Council Application form by Friday, April 28th.
