Ford CEO Visits Southwestern Ontario

It’s been a big week for the Ford Motor Company in southwestern Ontario.

Ford Canada CEO Mark Buzell and Victory Ford employee Dick Koopmans

CEO Mark Buzell paid a visit to Chatham after a major funding announcement in Windsor.

“Ford announced a $1.2-billion investment in our Canadian operations,” Buzell says. “But what’s really great about that for Windsor is that $600-million of that is designated for our Windsor operations, it’s really going to solidify the operations there and make sure we have jobs there for years to come.”

Buzell also helped to celebrate the work of dozen of Chatham-Kent students who partnered with Victory Ford as part of the We Scare Hunger food drive last fall.

“It’s just amazing to see all the students and for them ot take some time out so we can celebrate their accomplishments.”

In all, 25,000 pounds of food was donated to Outreach for Hunger and the Blenheim Baptist Church Food Bank.
