Former Local Junior Hockey Star Suffers Stab Wounds In Windsor

A former junior hockey star from Thamesville is listed in fair condition following an early morning stabbing outside a Windsor bar early Tuesday morning.

Windsor police say the fight broke out outside of the Pub Club on Ouellette Ave.

23 year old Dillon Liberty was taken to hospital with stab wounds that are considered non life threatening.

Police have a 20 year old man in custody in connection with the incident.

Liberty had an outstanding Jr.C career that culminated with him being named the OHA Jr. C player of the year province wide in 2016-17 as the captain of the Dresden Jr. Kings.
