Provincial Police are trying to get to the bottom of a grisly discovery in Harrow.
Officers were called to a County Road 13 home early Thursday afternoon, where the bodies of four people were found.
Authorities say the cause of death and the victims’ identities have not yet been confirmed, however investigators believe there is no imminent threat to public safety.
That being said, the OPP is reminding all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.
The investigation by the Essex County OPP Crime Unit is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services, and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
Authorities say the case remains in its early stages and no further details are being released at this time. Residents of the area should expect to see a large police presence for the next several days.
Postmortem examinations will be conducted in London as the investigation continues.
