Four Chatham and Wallaceburg residents are facing charges after a large quantity of meth was seized from from a residence on Pond Road.

Chatham-Kent Police and the Critical Incident Response Team executed a search warrant Friday morning.

Police seized nearly $3,000 worth of methamphetamine, $1,1000 in cash and scales, packaging and other drug paraphernalia.

A 50-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.

A 31-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

A 35-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.

All three were released pending a future court date of October 17.

A 36-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of failing to comply with her release conditions.  She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
