Four people had to be taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 401 on Family Day.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a passenger vehicle travelling in the westbound lanes of the highway in Chatham-Kent collided with a transport truck at around noon on Monday.
The four occupants of the passenger vehicle were taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
As a result of the crash, a 41-year-old Windsor resident who was driving the passenger vehicle has now been charged with careless driving.
