Chatham-Kent Police had to call out the K-9 unit early Sunday morning after a man tried to commit an armed robbery in Dresden.
Around 3 a.m. a man entered a business brandishing a knife.
His request for the night receipts was turned down so he fled the scene.
That’s when officers arrived and brought Arry with them.
It didn’t take Arry long to sniff out the suspect and a 27 year old Dresden man was taken into custody.
He is charged with robbery with intent and is bring held pending a bail hearing.
