Free Xmas Trees Thanks to Leon’s and Boy Scouts

Leon’s furniture store in Chatham is getting into the Christmas spirit.

Owner Ken Edwards has purchased all remaining Boy Scout Christmas trees to give away, free of charge.

Edwards says it’s a win-win situation, allowing families who may not otherwise be able to afford one to have their own live Christmas tree, and helping to support the Scouts fundraiser at the same time.

While supplies last, the trees can be picked up at the Scouts lot on St Clair Street just north of Oxley Drive.
