It could be a tricky night on the roads around parts of southwestern Ontario. 
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region, including Chatham-Kent, as well as Windsor, Leamington, and Essex County.
The forecast is calling for periods of light snow this afternoon becoming mixed with freezing drizzle overnight.
Motorists should expect poor winter travelling conditions as a result and plan for extra time to reach their destination.
This afternoon and the Friday morning commute may be slow and messy.
