This week’s weather is having an impact on plans for another round of teacher strikes.
The AEFO, representing 12,000 French teachers across Ontario, has cancelled a province-wide one-day strike set for tomorrow.
Union officials say the cancellation has nothing to do with bowing to demands of the government, but rather ensuring its members safety on the picket lines.
Meantime, talks between the AEFO and province are expected to resume on Friday.
