Frigid temperatures continue to blanket the region with an extreme cold warning still in place.

Cold related symptoms include shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.

Hope Haven on Wellington Street in Chatham remains open from 7pm to 7am, as well as their daytime hours of 10 am to 2 pm for anyone needing to get out of the elements, Hope Haven is expected to remain open overnight through January 19th.

Transportation can be arranged for those that are outside of the downtown core, including areas outside of those listed by contacting the Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6228.
