A Ridgetown family is hoping you can come out and support their efforts to find a cure for Alagille Syndrome.

Seven year old Chord Jaques suffers from the rare disease that effects his heart, liver and bones.

Chord’s mom, Tara, says the family is hosting a dinner and auction at the Ridgetown Legion starting at 5:30pm on Saturday, March 23rd.

“There’s a dinner, a silent auction throughout the night, and music starting at 7pm,” explains Jaques.

She says any money they raise will be going toward an international symposium on Alagille Syndrome.

“We have a big symposium coming up in June where everybody form the research industry, doctors, and the very few specialists we have on Alagille Syndrome, are all meeting at the Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati for about a week to talk to families, patients, and kids,” says Jaques.

There are no tickets, it’s $10 at the door. Music is by Unity Station.
