Organized by the Chatham-Kent OSPCA, the walk helps to support the day-to-day needs of the animal centre in Chatham.
Dogs and cats will be walking with their human companions, and Community Relations Coordinator Darcy DerBecker says it’s not too late to register:
“You can go to friendsforlifewalk.ca and you’ll be able to get pledge sheets for our fundraising goal,” says DerBecker. “Or you can show up and register the day of.”
The walk will take place this Saturday at Mud Creek Park in Chatham from 9-2.
