Municipal officials are looking for feedback on the health and well-being of local residents.

A new online survey has been launched as part of the process to develop a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, as mandated under the province’s Community Safety and Policing Act of 2019.

The survey is aimed at measuring community beliefs about which elements of safety and well-being are most important to local residents. Officials say the goal is to create a community in which everyone feels safe, has access to the services and opportunities they need, and have their needs met within Chatham-Kent.

Questions cover issues such as individual feelings on neighbourhood safety, the potential for crime, and how Chatham-Kent compares to other communities in Ontario.
