Jim Gilbert says he likes to think of the tours as enlightening rather than frightening.
“We are going to meet people, usually by their grave, who have played important roles in Chatham throughout history, and they’re going to tell us their story. We aren’t going to sugar-coat it, there are heroes and there are villains this year – some tragic stories and some uplifting stories” – Jim Gilbert
The first walk is being held tonight at the Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham. Tours are also taking place tomorrow evening, as well as next Friday and Saturday.
The walks cost $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under.
