With Remembrance Day falling on a Saturday, you may be surprised to find out what’s open and what isn’t.
It’s normal operating hours for libraries and arenas and pools.
Garbage collection is also business as usual, and all of the transfer stations and leaf and yard depots will remain open.
CK Transit will continue to operate on its normal schedule.
As for closures, banks and municipal service centres will be closed today, so will the health and family services buildings, including employment and housing, and the Entegrus office.
As for the hospitals, there won’t be any outpatient X-Rays, EKG, Ambulatory Care services; the Oncology department is closed; and the mental health and addictions program won’t be operating on Monday.
All emergency services will remain operational 24 hours a day, every day.
