Graduating Students Host Tree Planting Ceremonies

Today marks the start of a special project celebrating student achievement in Chatham-Kent.

Over the next few weeks, graduating classes from high schools across the municipality will be holding tree planting ceremonies as part of a project called “Your Roots Are Always in Chatham-Kent.”

The first trees was planted today – one at Crothers Conservation Area in Wallaceburg to recognize graduating students at WDSS, and another for Lambton Kent Composite grads at their school.
