Mitchell’s Bay will be rocking once again this afternoon for the second Grassy 2 Rock event of the summer. 
Everything gets underway at noon with a lineup that includes the Shake Band, Southwind Buoys, Toast and Jam, and Face 4 Radio.
The floating concert is open to boaters in the Grassy area of Lake St Clair, where the shallow water allows boaters to anchor.
More than 400 boats turned out for the first Grassy 2 Rock event on Canada Day.
Meantime, Provincial Police will be out in force this afternoon to ensure revelers are being safe.
Officers will be set up at the Marina, on the water, and patrolling area roads.
Those attending the Grassy event are reminded to wear a personal floatation device, and make sure there is a sober and qualified operator for your boat.
As with on area roads, anyone caught drinking and boating risks being convicted of impaired operation of a vessel and can lose their license for a year.
